Nurturing children aged 3 months and over
Honey Pots occupies an original Georgian property, with rooms deceptively bigger than their outside impression suggests. Within the property we provide care and education for our Tiny Tots, Toddlers and Pre-School rooms.
We are registered with Ofsted to care for no more than 34 children aged 3 months to 12 years. Rooms are kept bright and airy with a warm, homely feel, and patio doors open onto the outside play area so children can choose their own learning environment.
Our outside play area combines soft surface and astro turf with a sheltered seated area, featuring sensory boxes, musical features, grow boxes and talking flowers. We also have a small sensory room with a ball pit, tunnel, calming music and changing lights, plus internal and external CCTV and optional secure fingerprint access.
Staff are highly skilful in helping older children to solve their own problems, manage risks and keep themselves and others safe.
All children have great fun exploring the vibrant indoor and outdoor areas and the extensive range of good quality play resources.
Teaching is strong. All staff observe, assess and plan for children effectively in partnership with parents and other professionals. Children make consistently good progress in their learning and development, including children who have special needs.
Staff are extremely well focused on helping all children to develop skills in their physical, personal, social and emotional development. Children are confident, motivated learners and are very well prepared for their next stage in learning and for school.
The well qualified managers successfully lead and motivate staff to develop their practice. All staff demonstrate a drive and passion to continually improve the quality of the nursery and the outcomes for children.
We are open 7.30am–6pm.
We offer 15 hours sessions (AMs 9am–12pm or PMs 1pm–4pm, Monday to Friday) and 30 hours sessions (9am–3pm, Monday to Friday), term time only; optional extras such as meals and trips are not included.
Yes, we have internal and external CCTV and an optional secure fingerprint access system for parents.
